MY APPROACH

HOW I WORK

My work always starts from understanding, not assumptions. I begin with conversations – getting to know the business, the processes behind it, and the decisions that shaped where it is today. Then I go deep into the data. I look at e-commerce and performance metrics, but just as importantly, I analyse what’s really driving (or limiting) profitability: margins, profit, average order value, transaction structure, and units per transaction.

For me, e-commerce is not just about generating sales. It’s a system of connected processes that – if designed well – should lead to one thing: profitable scaling. If something in that system doesn’t work, growth quickly becomes inefficient.

That’s why I focus on identifying bottlenecks and the levers that can realistically improve performance – not just in theory, but in a way that translates into measurable results.

If decisions are going to be effective, they must be based on data – there’s no way around it. I know that many business owners often feel overwhelmed by the idea of data collection. In fact, many don’t yet track margins by category, average transaction value, UPT, or profitability metrics. But that’s exactly where my process helps. I support setting up and structuring these measurements, so a lack of data is never a barrier to getting started.

COLLABORATION FORMATS

The way I work with clients is always tailored to what the organisation actually needs at a given stage.

  • In some cases, it takes the form of regular sparring – strategic conversations that help challenge thinking, validate decisions, and bring an external perspective.
  • In others, it’s a more structured setup based on ongoing analysis and cyclical meetings, where I review performance, share insights, and recommend next steps.
  • I also work more closely with teams when needed – temporarily joining the organisation to support the setup of processes, ways of working, and team structures that directly impact e-commerce performance.

Regardless of the format, the goal remains the same: profitable scaling.

THE GOAL

My role is to help build a system that works without me.

That means creating clear, repeatable ways of working – around data analysis, decision-making, and execution – so that teams can confidently operate and grow on their own. Everything I introduce is designed to be understood, adopted, and continued internally.

The focus is always on identifying what’s holding the business back, improving the right metrics, and implementing changes that bring real impact – whether through quick wins or longer-term growth levers.

And then – handing it over.

So the business can keep growing, with the right structure, clarity, and independence.
